The NHK Trophy makes its return to the iconic Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo for the first time since 2013. The roster is somewhat depleted (more of that later), but there will no doubt be plenty of exciting skating on show to keep some of us up all night!

Although Torino (or Turin or the place where that stare took place in 2006) has hosted the Grand Prix Final twice, this is the first time the city or Italy indeed has staged a fully-fledged stand alone Grand Prix event. Grazie China!
