(more…)Just over two weeks after the conclusion of this season’s World Championships, Japan plays host once again to some of the best figure skating talent from around the globe as the World Team Trophy is held in Tokyo. While the biennial event is seen as a fun way to wrap up the competitive calendar, the US$1,000,000 prize fund means there is some serious money up for grabs for the six teams who will take to the ice inside the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium.

(more…)After a postponement and a change of host, the World Junior Championships kick off tomorrow in Tallinn, Estonia. The Estonian capital also held the last edition of the championships which took place back in March 2020 days prior to the Covid-19 pandemic officially being declared.
